GUILD HOTELS  · MARBLE ARCH

Expertly crafted.
Every time.

At Guild Hotel Marble Arch, we’re committed to doing things properly and crafting memorable stays. Our cues come from the city’s guild tradition: the silversmiths of Goldsmiths’ Hall, the printers of Stationers’ Court, the bookbinders and bell-founders whose maker’s stamps still mark the streets. Many of the city’s greatest attractions are on our doorstep, from the greenery of Hyde Park to the bustle of Oxford Street and the luxury boutiques and bars in Mayfair. You’re in safe hands.

Guild Hotel Marble Arch is ideally located for visitors looking to explore Oxford Street, Selfridges and the West End.

Guild Hotel Marble Arch comprises four Victorian townhouses that have been converted to create a contemporary hotel that blends original features with modern design. It is located in central London, close to Marble Arch, Hyde Park and Oxford Street, offering guests a convenient base for exploring many of the things for which London is most famous, from museums and galleries to shopping and sightseeing. Its central location and access to London’s underground network means that Guild Hotel Marble Arch is an excellent choice for business as well as leisure travellers.

Guild Hotel Marble Arch is a 10-minute walk from Hyde Park, famous for its boating lake, summer concerts and Winter Wonderland. Madame Tussauds and London Zoo are also close by: if you’d prefer not to walk, buses run from just outside the hotel to Baker Street or you can take the Jubilee line from Bond Street (next stop Baker Street).

For a full day out, consider the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter. Branded buses depart every 30 minutes from Baker Street, and advance booking is essential.

Shopaholics might head to the official LEGO store and M&M’s London, both on Leicester Square, and Hamley’s, the world’s oldest toy store, on Regent Street.

Many of London’s world-class museums and galleries are close to the hotel, and most of them are open seven days a week.

For example, the British Museum is a 5-minute ride on the Central line from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court Road. If you continue heading east on the Central line, you could travel two more stops to St Paul’s and then cross the Millennium Bridge to Tate Modern, while a further four steps will take you to Stratford, home to the new V&A East.

For example, the entire perimeter of Hyde Park and adjacent Kensington Gardens would take you on a 4.3-mile (7km) run, but there are lots of paths and routes to explore, including a loop of the Serpentine lake (3 miles / 5km). Apps like Strava and Alltrails can help you plan the ideal route.

Mayfair is the ultimate destination for luxury shopping in London, and it’s just minutes from the hotel. No.

Guide dogs are welcome, but the hotel does not permit other assistance dogs or emotional-support pets.

Absolutely — this is one of our favourite parts of the job. Our teams know the places that don’t make it onto the tourist trail: the café worth crossing the street for, the museum entrance most people walk past, the market that’s only on Thursdays. Just ask at the front desk and we’ll point you in the right direction.

London’s transport network makes it easy. If you’re arriving at Heathrow, take the Elizabeth line to Bond Street, about 40 minutes door to door – then it’s a seven-minute walk to the hotel. From Gatwick, board the Thameslink train to London Bridge (30 minutes) and then change to the Jubilee line for Bond Street (five stops, 10 minutes.)

As a general rule, guests need to be at least 18 years old to reserve a room. If you’re unsure, give our front desk a call ahead of your stay — the team is happy to help.

Plans change — we understand. Your cancellation terms will have been confirmed at the time of booking, and you’re welcome to cancel or amend your reservation in line with those. If you’re not sure what applies to your stay, get in touch with our team directly and they’ll walk you through it.

We’ll always do our best to make your schedule work. Early check-in (before 3:00 pm) and late check-out (after 12:00 pm) depend on what’s happening at your hotel on the day, so the most reliable thing is to call the team directly before you arrive. They’ll know exactly what’s possible and won’t leave you guessing. You’ll find the number in your confirmation email or on your hotel’s page.
